Don't worry, if you don't have a bill to hand then you can still get a business energy quote, but your quote might not be as accurate.
A: Most businesses are charged VAT at the current rate of 20% for business energy which is what we'll quote you on. Charities and not-for-profit organisations are eligible for a reduced rate of VAT at 5% on energy supplied by us. To get the reduced VAT rate once you join is easy – you just need to complete our simple VAT reduction form online. And, if you qualify for a reduced rate of VAT on business energy, you won't need to pay the Climate Change Levy either.
A: Quotes are valid for 7 days. However, if you've got a quote and like it, we can agree a new business energy contract up to 180 days in advance.
A: We can offer business customers a range of fixed rate plans over one, two, or three years. If you don't want a Fixed Rate Energy Plan you can choose our 30 day Rolling Energy Plan. With our 30 day Rolling Energy Plan your unit rate and standing charge could go up or down but you're free to move to a Fixed Rate Energy Plan at any time. If you've got a half-hourly meter then we can offer an energy deal that works around how and when your business uses electricity. Whichever plan you pick, you can save even more If you pay by Direct Debit as we'll give you a 7% discount.
